                                                ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

                                                            APRIL 12, 2012

6:30 P.M.         Called meeting to order. Present: Ellen W. Abelson, Richard B. Gorden

                        Mark J. Mazur.

1.         The Board noted that our settlement offer for a fiscal year 2011 Appellate Tax Board case was accepted. The Board then granted a fiscal year 2011 abatement to the owner of Parcel 65-102 in final settlement of their appeal.

2.      The Board discussed plans to meet with the Board of Selectmen on April

24, 2012 to discuss the relationship between assessment levels and tax rates.

3.       The Board reviewed the assessments of the taxpayers scheduled to meet

with them later this evening.

4.       The Board took the following actions on fiscal year 2012 applications for

abatement for the owners of the following parcels:

                                    Parcel   97-2     Denied

                                    Personal Property Acct# 122 Granted

                                    Personal Property Acct# 36125 Granted

                                    Parcel 65-102  Denied

                                    Parcel 8-63      Denied

                                    Parcel 111-17  Denied

7:15 P.M.         Taxpayer meeting with the owners of parcel 42-22

7:50 P.M.         Taxpayer meeting with the owners of parcel 82-49

5. The Board decided that they would hold their next Board Meeting at

1:00 P.M. on Monday, April 23, 2012.
